Style Icon: Miranda July
A few months ago I watched the more than beautiful movie "Me and You and Everyone We Know" which was absolute awesome. Breathtaking and just beautiful. It made me wish I would live in that movie. Brilliant.
But that's not what I wanted to write about:
Miranda July - video artist, writer/director/actress of that movie - wore so many gorgeous shirts in that movie that it's worth a post. I collected some pictures with her sporting those nice and feminin blouses.
She is quite beautiful, I think. And I really like her work. Besides this feature film she's also one part of the people behind learningtoloveyoumore.com which is such a lovely project.
But back to the costumes. There were even more nice ones in the film but I couldn't find more pictures. I'll have to wait for the DVD and make some screenshots. And I'll try to find out more about the costume designer of the movie or Mirandas clothing favourites.
Edit #1: Miranda July has a link on her weblog to a guy called Adam Arnold who, she wrote, made some clothes for her. So I went on his website to check his collection. And yes, it could be him who designed the pieces she's wearing in the movie.
